Lochenbar Station is a 10,000 acre working cattle station that was once part of the now protected Kroombit Tops National Park. Kroombit Tops National Park is a rugged park with spectacular views, subtropical rainforest patches, rugged gorges and palm-fringed waterfalls. Situated in the heart of Capricorn Rural hinterland, only two hours drive south of Rockhampton and one and three quarter hours west of Gladstone (off the coast from Heron Island). Kroombit Park can be accessed by car, by coach and by air. The roads are in good condition and comfortable driving for those towing caravans or trailers.
