Kroombit Park
Lochenbar Station is a 10,000 acre working cattle station that was once part of the now protected Kroombit Tops National Park. Kroombit offers guests the REAL 'Australian outback farm experience' not to be missed! Country hospitality and cooking, natural experiences, kangaroos, wide-open spaces, campfires, and the casual relaxed lifestyle of Central Queensland. Kroombit offers plenty of farm activities including horse riding, mustering cattle and goats, whip cracking, animal feeding, camping, bushwalking, 4wd tours, native animals, mountain bike riding, bush volleyball, clay trap shooting (no live animals), and 'bucking mechanical bull'. Kroombit Park is nestled in five acres of eucalypt forest on Lochenbar Cattle Station, 35 klms from Biloela in Central Queensland, Australia. Kroombit Tops National Park is a rugged park with spectacular views, subtropical rainforest patches, rugged gorges and palm-fringed waterfalls. Situated in the heart of Capricorn Rural hinterland, only two hours drive south of Rockhampton and one and three quarter hours west of Gladstone (off the coast from Heron Island). Kroombit Park can be accessed by car, by coach and by air. The roads are in good condition and comfortable driving for those towing caravans or trailers.
